Coming up with stock answers

We are looking for a small number of companies to form a Working Party to help with feedback, ideas and testing when we begin the next round of enhancements to the Stock Manager.

This project is currently in its second stage. We have already consulted extensively with a wide range of users, and have drawn up an outline specification for the project.

We will be giving the Stock Manager an underlying architecture that will allow greatly improved reporting, tracking and general flexibility. It will be an evolutionary, rather than revolutionary approach, in order to preserve compatibility with the existing Stock Manager.

Planning is all-important with a project of this nature. We are also fortunate to be able to draw on the experience of Rollo Carpenter. This will be the fourth stock system that he has been involved in designing (including the existing Modulus and Enterprise 6 Stock Manager).

Stock Manager 2 will be a major enhancement to the system for anyone who deals with goods in and out. We are confident that it will provide the speed of access and entry and powerful reporting to make it a major step forward.

Members of the working party will have an opportunity to review and comment on plans, functionality and interface and to test the suitability of the emerging product for their business.
