Enterprising developments

We are currently making significant improvements to the way that the Enterprise 6 diary is used, and will be releasing an upgrade shortly.

The new version will have a much wider range of entry screens to the diary, depending on the task you are doing. Making a note, scheduling anappointment, recording time, and making a sales call, are all handled through the diary, but have completely different requirements. Handling these varying needs better will be a major improvement to user-friendliness and efficiency.

We now have a 4D 2004 version of Enterprise 6currently in testing and will be releasing it shortly.

Getting your money back

Software can sometimes be an expensive commodity.Something that seems eminently desirable when you are discussing the concept can suddenly result in a sharp intake of breath and a failure of corporate nerve when the quote for doing the work arrives.

Yet the fact remains that having software that really does support your business can be one the finest ways to increase trade and profit margins, cut overheads, provide enhanced quality of service and keep your best staff

Log your support calls on the web

Just a reminder that if you encounter a software problem, we recommend that you enter them via our website. That makes sure that they enter our call-handling system and get correctly monitored and progressed. By all means, call or email us as well, but please make the website your first port of call

Big Brother is watching you

One of our clients recently expressed astonishment when our Customer Support Team emailed him with an answer to a problem he had encountered.

You might conclude from this that a response from the Daybook Support Team is a rare event. Well, of course, that was not the reason. But it is pretty rare in the world of software to get a response to a problem that you have not actually reported.
