Design your own templates for printing invoices, orders, statements, delivery notes, or create your own professional reports with our SuperReport Editor. And if you don't want to do it yourself, then we will do it for you.
Infrastructure
Version 4 and above of Daybook Enterprise allows SuperReport Pro documents to be stored inside the Daybook Enterprise data file, rather than as separate files on the hard disk. This makes multi-user access to reports much easier to manage.
Opening SuperReport Pro
SuperReport Pro can be activated either by clicking the [Report] button in the Buttons Palette at a listing screen, or by clicking the [Edit Templates] button on the Forms Settings 2 page of Preferences.
Printing SuperReports
When the [Report] button is clicked from a listing screen, you are shown a listing of all existing Reports defined for the file in which you have just performed a search. At the base of the list is a [Print] button. For example, if you have a listing of Companies on screen, clicking the [Report] button will list all reports based on the Companies file. From there you can immediately highlight one (or, in fact, more than one) report and press the [Print] button. The resulting report(s) will cover all the Companies in the listing or, if applicable, all highlighted Companies. The report list can be searched, sorted, selected etc in the normal way. Double-clicking on a line will bring up that report format for editing, and clicking the [+] button will allow you to design a new report format.
The [Edit Templates] button provides a list of all the SuperReport report formats in Daybook Enterprise and again the formats can be edited and new ones created. However, you will not be able to print.
