The Enterprise 6 Event Manager is a specialist volume designed for companies engaged in the creation or management of events, training courses, conferences or seminars.
If your company runs courses or events that involve booking spaces for delegates or attendees, you can use Enterprise 6 Event Manager. If your administration of events is purely internal - if you are involved in administering training courses attended only by members of your own company - you can use Enterprise 6 Event Manager. Enterprise 6 Event Manager records three key elements of information, including:

• Events
  Where you specify details of an event, its start and finish dates, location, charges attributable to the event, and so forth

• Attendees
  Details of a delegate or attendee, which event he (or she) is booked to attend, and any previous events attended, which costs (if any) have been incurred.

• Event orders
  Where a single company commissions you to run an Event on their behalf, Event Orders can be used to control the project from the Enquiry and Quotation stages through to Invoicing. Invoices can be issued to the commissioning company for the appropriate number of delegates or to the delegates themselves.

Reports

Event Manager also generates a series of reports, including Attendee (Delegate) Lists, and special printouts such as lapel badges.

Web Integration

Critically, Enterprise is web-savvy and can both publish and receive data on the web using the Internet Manager. As a result sophisticated systems for candidate registration, sales and so on, can be set up.

Integration

The real beauty of the system lies in its integration with other volumes in Enterprise 6. If you have ever entered the details of an individual into the system (into the Sales Ledger, the Diary Manager, or anywhere else) you never need to rekey the same details into the Events Manager when you book him (or her) onto a course or a seminar. If you are booking a delegate who has recently placed an order with your company, you can look up his/her details from the order, and transfer them directly to the Event.

An even bigger time-saver is the link with Enterprise 6 Sales Ledger. If you ever need to invoice a delegate for attendance on a training course or a conference, the system will allow you to issue the invoice from within the Event Manager, and then pull all the details through to the Sales Ledger for production of Statements and collection of payment.

If you need to send out a mailshot to everyone who has attended a certain seminar in the past asking them if they'd like to attend a related event in future, Enterprise 6 has an automatic link to the Word Processor volume, allowing you to generate mail letters quickly and efficiently, without the fuss of exports and reimports. Once the letter is set up, you can remail it to another group of companies in seconds. And if you also have the Enterprise 6 Diary Manager, the Enterprise Word Processor will automatically make a note of every letter sent in the Diary, ensuring that you have a permanent record of who has received what, allowing you to mail a follow-up letter to the same group, and providing complete control over a series of mailshots.

Event Manager is a sophisticated stand-alone package. Integrated with other volumes, the accounting and marketing possibilities are almost endless.
