Big brother is watching you
One of our clients recently expressed astonishment when our Customer Support Team emailed him with an answer to a problem he had encountered.
You might conclude from this that a response from the Daybook Support Team is a rare event. Well, of course, that was not the reason. But it is pretty rare in the world of software to get a response to a problem that you have not actually reported.
If you are a Modulus or Enterprise user, then you might be interested to know that any error messages which appear on your screen (and hopefully there will not be many) are automatically reported to the Daybook helpdesk, as long as your machine is email-enabled.
This lets us track the performance of our software, fix bugs and things that seem too minor to report. It's a major weapon in the ongoing fight to maintain rigorous quality standards in a very large, complex system.
A case of Big Brother? Maybe - or it could be Big Sister, depending on who is doing the watching. But watched you will be. You have been warned.
