Daybook Publisher is a relational database with special features added to make it easy for you to publish the data. You set up Publishing Styles, which tell Daybook Publisher:

• All the data is automatically formatted in the appropriate font, style, colour, etc. when it is transferred from the database to the publishing destination. • Once a Publishing Format has been set up, it can be saved and used again and again. You don't have to remember what to include, how to format it, how to sort it, etc.

• Automatically insert index tags, making the creation of indices very simple and error free
• You can return your index data to the database, so that any type of cross-reference indices can be created easily.

• Imported data can update existing data (e.g., when there is a new price list)
• In addition, you can read printed text into the database, using optical character recognition.

• Daybook Publisher Pro is for the professional who needs optimum speed and reliability. It is flexible and adaptable to any situation, with configurable entry screens. It can also be customised to suit a client's specific needs.
• Daybook Publisher Pro's scripting language means that specially written routines can perform tasks that are not already catered for in Publisher. A script can be run manually, or automatically when data are imported or exported, or when a record is saved.
